28/10/09» We have decided to change our target from 50.000 to 15.000 dollars at SellaBand. We just don't need $50.000 dollars to record an awesome CD.

Just before the summer we came in contact with a producer here in The Netherlands. We think there's some real chemistry there so we want to record a CD with him. Actually, we will record a CD with him. We have agreed on a budget but hitting our Sellaband target would give us the opportunity to really give it our best. Right now we're at 2390 dollar, so that's a nice start ;-)

27/09/09» We started preproduction of our first full length album last week in Siger’s Attic Recording Studio (that’s a mighty big word for a desktop computer and a half decent sound card). The first bass lines and guitar parts are recorded, after this will be the drums. If all goes according to plan, we'll hit the studio in the first half of 2010 to record an awesome album.

13/07/09» It's been quiet on the Tarball front lately, but behind the scenes we're busing writing new songs. After our summer break we'll perform them live, starting at the Wieste Open Air festival. Check the gigs section for more gigs.

» Next year we want to record a follow up on 'Bite the Bullet': a full length CD. Because this cost a lot of money we decided to join SellaBand. Here bands are given the opportunity to record a full album by selling 'parts'.

17/03/08» Tarball has worked on a new EP with Guido Aalbers (yeah that guy who also worked with Coldplay, Muse, Queens of the Stone Age and other awesome bands) from the 15th till the 17th of March. Three days of hard work has resulted in a kick ass new EP. The music is mastered at Hollands biggest studio: Wisseloord Studios. You can check the music on MySpace. For a lousy €5,- the cd is yours!
