Tarball is an alternative-rock band which is based in Groningen (north of Holland). The four man band has been playing their mixture of emo, metal, grunge and rock since the summer of 2004. 20/04/2010» Unfortunately the planned recording session in May for the new in cd has been cancelled. Due to miscommunication with studio Graveland we've decided not to record. Nevertheless, Tarball will record a full-length album this year but some more patience is needed. The band will be looking for a new producer/ studio in the next weeks. 08/03/10» Due to the recent developments, we decided to leave Sellaband. For more information please click on the Support button or click here. 29/01/10» After getting great reviews on our two EPs Mine To Take (2006) and Bite The Bullet (2008) we think it's time for our first full length CD. We will be hitting the Graveland Studio in May with producer Arno Krabman. The is very experienced in all kinds of music so we think he is the right guy for us. » Also, after playing some gigs in Germany, we have closed a deal with the German bookings agency AH! Entertainment. We are very excited about this, because we think our music is very well suited for the German market. Expect more gigs soon! 16/01/10» On the 29th of January a Tarball song will be played on Dutch national radio station KinkFM! Between 7 and 8 PM the first 2 minutes of Judge Me will be played during the 2 Minuten Show. The week after the broadcast votes can be casted. The top 3 will then be played in full the next week! So ask all your friends to vote for us! 28/10/09» We have decided to change our target from 50.000 to 15.000 dollars at SellaBand. We just don't need $50.000 dollars to record an awesome CD. Just before the summer we came in contact with a producer here in The Netherlands. We think there's some real chemistry there so we want to record a CD with him. Actually, we will record a CD with him. We have agreed on a budget but hitting our Sellaband target would give us the opportunity to really give it our best. Right now we're at 2390 dollar, so that's a nice start ;-) Of course you will be rewarded when you buy a Part in us. Check our full plan at SellaBand. 21/10/09» You can follow us now on Twitter and Facebook! 27/09/09» We started preproduction of our first full length album last week in Siger’s Attic Recording Studio (that’s a mighty big word for a desktop computer and a half decent sound card). The first bass lines and guitar parts are recorded, after this will be the drums. If all goes according to plan, we'll hit the studio in the first half of 2010 to record an awesome album. |
